What to make for Father’s Day: Rhubarb-Strawberry Blondies with White Chocolate Chunks

I can’t think of a recipe that remind me of my dad more than these rhubarb filled blondies!  That may seem weird.  Rhubarb and strawberries don’t exactly scream dad’s day to me.  Nor do blondies or white chocolate.  Yet, here we are. You see, my father loves just about any fruit dessert whose flavors resemble a pie or a crumble. Brown Butter White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

While my family gears up to spend some time at the beach this 4th of July, I gave my oven a workout yesterday.  Cookies, lots and lots of cookies.  I believe I have mentioned our beach and pirate tradition in a previous post.  After watching several “pirates” walk by with cookies stacked 5-high last year.  I am considering it my patriotic duty to come extra prepared this year!!
